As if it was the first magic trick
That we had ever seen performed
Live
While the fish swam
Just below the surface
Of the midnight water
Creating black-light rainbows
Rippling out across
The lagoon
Fading into the twisted roots
Of the mangrove trees
Of Puerto Mosquito.
