Accident
Our cars collide
Within this boring suburban
Landscape.
In a flash
In a crackle and a crunch
Wheels screaming
Through the dead quiet
Of night.
A split second copulation
Cars kissed and fucked
Wet lips smacking
Metal conjoining.
Your car mounted mine
Violently
Breaking glass and fenders
Sparkling chrome teeth
Kissing and chewing
Licking fuel and lubricants.
You sent me spinning
Across two lanes
Of oncoming traffic.
The few moments of excitement
Were simply georgeous.
As my car bounced
Off of the far guard rail
We both abruptly stopped.
Machines breathing heavily
Post coitus.
As drivers of these once fine vehicles
It was our responsibility
To get out and start yelling at each other.
But dear...
That was so good.
I just want to lie here
Wounds bleeding
And smoke a cigarette.
