One Morning

I finished some things

That I had to do

And after that

I stopped by your house

For a spontaneous visit.

You were there

Greeting me warmly

And it wasn’t long

Before you took me

To those places

Those wonderful

‘Out of body experience’

Places

That you are gifted at.

And then

I was lying on your kitchen floor

Naked and shaking

White electric flesh

On glossy yellow pine

Eyes closed

Mouth open

Receiving your kisses

Your tongue.

I lie there

Body limp.

The morning previously

Just disappearing

While a new golden one

Had risen

In it’s place

Around us

In a small kitchen

Reflecting

Off of the varnish

Of a highly polished

Wooden floor.
